“Frenitis” (Frenzy, not to be confused with Alfred Hitchcock’s film with the same name from 1972) is a thriller and murder mystery shot in black and white by Yannis Christodoulou. The production year of this film is a bit unclear, it appears the film played in Greek cinema’s in 1971, but the production must have started before Vangelis moved from Greece to France in March 1968. Vangelis’ score is appropriately suspenseful, and includes a song with Aleka Kanelidou titled ‘I Remember The Day’, which she performs in a scene in the movie. Unfortunately both the song and the score were never released outside of the film.
