"¿No Oyes Ladrar Los Perros?" is the title of a Mexican/French film by French director François Reichenbach, for which Vangelis composed an original score.
Vangelis' appropriate score, with both dramatic and dreamy sequences was released as an album using different names such as “Entends-Tu Les Chiens Aboyer?” (1975), “Can You Hear The Dogs Barking?” (1975) and “Ignacio” (1977). Unlike many other films scored by Vangelis, the music in the film and the album are almost the same. Several parts of the score were also used by Carl Sagan in his 1980 documentary-series “Cosmos: A Personal Voyage”.
The LP soundtrack was issued with several sleeve variations, an interesting feature for advanced record collectors. If you are simply looking for a copy of the music on CD, be aware that the early CAM-releases are flawed and contain only half of the music from the film (due to a mix-up with the music of “La Fête Sauvage”, see Elsew.com). Better find a copy of the “Ignacio” CD, or the final “Entends-Tu Les Chiens Aboyer?” CD from CAM from 2002, both have the complete and correct version of the music. The album released in 1977 as "Ignacio" was promoted by a single release with same name.
Later Vangelis would work with François Reichenbach again on two promotional short films for the French travel agency “Club Méditerranée” (Club Med).
Any album release does not really have a true tracklist, the music is simply divided in two parts to accomodate the initial vinyl album release where the music was included on the A and B side of the record.
Composed, arranged and produced by Vangelis.

Recording studio
The music for "¿No Oyes Ladrar Los Perros?" is most likely the first album that Vangelis recorded in his own Nemo Studios in London. Even though the studio was still under construction, in an interview published in August 1975 Vangelis is quoted to have said "Work was completed three weeks ago, on his personal 16-track studio at Marble Arch".
