Introduction
“La Semaine De Cowes” is an episode in the television documentary series “La Mer Cette Aventure”, produced by French director Frédéric Rossif. The music for this documentary is composed by Vangelis, but it seems most of it was sourced from “L’Apocalypse Des Animaux” (1973).
The episode is a report on ’Cowes Week’, the largest sailing regatta of its kind in the world, held yearly during the month of August on the Solent. The festival is organised in Cowes, an English seaport town on the Isle of Wight.
