Introduction
The Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation (ERT) is the major public radio and television broadcasting network in Greece, and its primary news bulletin is titled ERT Eideseis, as broadcast on ERT1. In 1982 Vangelis composed a theme for both the opening and closing titles of ERT Eideseis, and for years the music was the daily opening and closing of the news in Greece. In 2008 the music was updated with a slightly differrent arrangement.
