“River Journeys” is a BBC documentary television series in 6 episodes exploring some of the largest rivers in the world. The series was broadcast from November 1984, and in each episode a particular river is explored by a different writer. Vangelis composed a short theme for the animated opening titles, all the other music heard in the television series is not by Vangelis. Note that the music in the episode about the Nile was composed by Brian Eno.
