Introduction
Walhalla was a Dutch radio show about electronic and pop music. The show, presented by Theo Stokkink, was broadcast by KRO on Wednesday-evenings from 1979.
In the episode of Walhalla broadcast on the 14th of January 1981 the team visited Nemo Studios in London for an interview with Vangelis, and during the interview Vangelis can be heard improvising on his instruments to demonstrate their capabilities. In between conversation clips are played of Vangelis earlier work, such as Aphrodite’s Child, “L’Apocalypse Des Animaux” (1973), the RCA albums and his -then- latest albums “China” (1979) and “See You Later” (1980).
