“Un Monde Différent” is the title of a television documentary series by French director Frédéric Rossif. The series consists of 15 episodes of about 50 minutes each, which were broadcast on French television in two seasons, in 1981 and 1982. The images of this series are a mix of original and source material, but not sourced from earlier documentaries by Rossif. The title music of the series is by Vangelis and is taken from “L’Apocalypse Des Animaux” (1973) and “L’Opéra Sauvage” (1976), while the music heard in the episodes is a mix of source music, music by Vangelis (taken from earlier documentaries by Frédéric Rossif) and music from other composers.
Other such compilation wildlife series by Frédéric Rossif with music by Vangelis are "Histoires d’Animaux” (1973), “Animaux Couleurs” (1974), “Splendeur Sauvage” (1986), “Beauté Sauvage” (1989) and “Les Animaux De Frédéric Rossif” (1989).
